Deane Priest Named Executive Vice President for Consumer Products

In February, Fortessa announced that Deane Priest had been promoted to Executive Vice President for Consumer Products. Priest has been with the company since April of 2018, when he joined the team as Vice President of Sales. During the COVID and global supply crisis, Priest led his team in identifying new business opportunities and building the consumer products division despite the challenging environment. “Deane did a phenomenal job of growing the business in the very teeth of the storm,” says President and CEO Scott M. Hamberger, “and his new title of Executive Vice President for Consumer Products reflects that leadership and analytical skill.”

Fortessa Launches New E-Commerce Site


In early 2022, Fortessa unveiled the soft launch of a new web experience for both wholesale and retail consumers. For all users, the new site offers a brand-new layout and more user-friendly design, an improved browser experience, and faster checkout options. On the B2B side, business accounts ordering directly from Fortessa will now be able to reorder items directly from their order history, manage and pay invoices, and request or review quotes within the e-commerce site.

Cloud Terre Collection No. 1’s
ETTA Bowl wins Good Design Award

In 2021, Fortessa was proud to announce that the Etta Bowl, a piece of the Cloud Terre Collection No. 1, had been awarded a GOOD DESIGN Award. This prestigious award is presented by the Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design and Metropolitan Arts Press Ltd., and represents the very best in innovative industrial, product, and graphic design. The Etta Bowl, a striking asymmetrical design with a satin matte charcoal glaze, received best in Tabletop for 2021.

Created by artist Amber Kendrick, Cloud Terre is a collection of eclectic tableware inspired by her years of creative collaboration with chefs and background in architecture and ceramic arts. With a playful balance of functionality and aesthetics, Cloud Terre brings that bespoke approach to the home consumer. Collection No. 1 features matte finishes and a unique drip rim, highlighting the subtle imperfect shape that makes each piece of the Cloud Terre collection feel unique. Arriving in Spring 2022, Collection No. 2 will expand the Cloud Terre vision with a new set of modern tableware that perfectly suits the way we eat now.
